During a residency at the Kala Art Institute the artist will create and publicly install large-scale images of real/imagined homes for sale in California’s Bay Area. WANTED* is a sales pitch. Playing with “sticker shock”, this project uses the affordable housing crisis to explore unattainable ideas of materialism, minimalism, aesthetics and value judgements.

Iceland’s NES Artist’s Residency is located in the small fishing village of Skagaströnd, which is also home to a Museum of Fortunetelling. During the residency, the artist will partner with the Museum to create multi-media work exploring magical thinking in a time of global uncertainty.
