This quadriptych of four sculptures incorporates large quantities of beads, wool, embroidery thread, and buttons which I have collected/hoarded over the years. The project arose as a reaction to the first COVID-19 lockdown, when I began hyper-organizing things around my house and studio, which is a long-standing coping mechanism for me. The materials themselves have sentimental/personal significance, relating to different periods of my life. The process of creating his work is a meditation on people I have lost, including some of my own lost selves.
